This park is named after the active Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, which means "the corner of the old lady," standing 1,985 meters above sea level. You will have the opportunity to explore the boiling mud pots, seasonal waterfalls, fumarolas, and more. There is a wide variety of wildlife in the park, with over 300 different bird species, deer, peccaries, skunks, squirrels, coatis, and 3 species of monkey.

Whitewater rafting is optional following the hike in the dry forest (for an additional charge per person).This will take place on the Colorado River, which is located on the way to Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
