If you are coming to Costa Rica with the hope of seeing plenty of monkeys, exotic birds, crocodiles, and other wildlife, this is a great tour for you! This 2 hour boat ride down the Tempisque River takes you through a portion of Palo Verde National Park, one of the most ecologically diverse regions of Costa Rica. Howler monkeys, white-face monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and a wide variety of wading and waterland birds are frequently seen on this trip. Be sure to bring your camera - we are often able to get up close for some great shots! From December to April, you will also be able to see and learn about the sugar cane plantations that are located near the river.
